Offering highly innovative products, they are also highly innovative regarding business intelligence and reporting solutions for the various in-house divisions. The department, in which you could very well find yourself working in, prides itself in taking conventional BI practices to entirely new levels that offer not only new feature rich tools to its internal clients, but also measurable business value and increased profitability.
Challenge
- Analysing business intelligence related business requirements comprehensively with high level internal clients and design BI solutions meeting their respective needs
- Managing, tracking and documenting these requirements
- Closely and actively managing relationships within the in-house business community
- Taking ownership of all relevant information technology topics
- Facilitating fluid communication among key stakeholders, advisory board and steering committee members
- Serving as a Change Manager for existing BI and Reporting solutions and processes
- Promoting continuous innovation within business analysis and business intelligence processes and methodologies
- Involving information technology divisions in order to enhance their understanding of business practices and processes
Basic Profile
- An excellent university degree in economics, business administration or finance or equivalent (secondary degrees are an asset)
- 2 – 3 years experience with a proven track record within business analysis or project management, preferably within BI
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent customer focus and customer management skills
- Solid business analysis and requirements engineering experience
- Experience within project management is desirable, but not essential
- Solid understanding of different BI architectures, concepts and solutions such as dashboards, query & analysis, reporting or multidimensional analysis
- Good ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
- Experience with at least one BI technology platform, preferably SAP or BusinessObjects
- Insurance experience is a plus, but not obligatory
- Fluent English language skills are mandatory, German language skills, although welcome, are not required as such
- Relevant internships or working experience is of great advantage
